rest | relax | rejuvenate
Inside this 1 bedroom apartment you have plenty of space to spread out on the large lounges and the large dining table. The EU double bed is one piece rather than the usual two single beds pushed together. There is also a single bed in the bedroom and a floor mattress for a fourth person.
This is also our home for part of the year so you have the benefit of many more personalized things than the usual holiday rental apartments. Things such as many more cooking utensils, plates and electric plugs.
We enjoy other cultures and have some memories on the wall. We have deliberately chosen not to have an Ikea-look and prefer our own practical pieces. We hope you enjoy the super large sofas for an afternoon nap or the extra- large dining table so that you can spread out maps and brochures to better plan your Jungfrau adventures. The useful PC table pulls out so you can leave your laptop set up.
We love colour and believe that heavy curtains make a suitable window treatment like a picture frame for the Staubbachfall and the village view. Winter is the season to draw these drapes for a sense of extra warmth although the underfloor heating makes the apartment cozy.
Many apartments in Switzerland are unable to use their laundry facilities whenever they please and are often allocated a specific day for use. Our laundry is available 24/7 and makes a useful storage area for large suitcases as well. As well as when one has wet jackets and boots it is nice to hang them in the laundry where they will quickly dry instead of cluttering the apartment.
We also enjoy the privilege of a well-equipped ski room. As well as the secure ski storage cage, one can tune skis on the bench.
Who does not like a game of table tennis or to relax in a sauna after a Berner Oberland day out? Guests are allowed to use these areas with care and to mop out the sauna shower after using. There is a special mop in the laundry for this use. Also to air the sauna so it is suitable for the next user.
